NIOS Admission Eligibility
For NIOS admission for 10th class
- In order to appear for the 10th class exam, the age limit for NIOS admission 2024 of the candidate must be at least 14 years.
- Children who have passed 8th class at the age of 14 can also apply for this course
For NIOS admission for 12th class
- In order to appear for the NIOS admission for higher secondary, the candidate must be at least the age of 16 years.
- The candidate must have cleared class 10th from a recognized board to apply for NIOS class 12th.

Documents required for NIOS 10th admission 2024
- Identity proof like Aadhar Card, passport, or ration card.
- Birth certificate for proof of date of birth
- Address proof i.e. Aadhaar card/water bill/electricity bill/voter ID/ration card
- Signature (preferably in black ink)
- Recent passport size color photograph
- class 10th mark sheet to apply for senior secondary NIOS admission.
- Disability certificate for PWD candidates
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Ex-serviceman certificate for candidates applying under Ex-serviceman category
Documents required for NIOS 12th admission 2024
- Valid Proof of Identity like Aadhar Card. The student has a Requirement of Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
- Valid Proof of Residence. So student have Requirement of Photocopy of Residence proof
- 4 recent passport size photographs (colored).
- Original Failed Marksheet of class 10th this also required for admission in NIOS.
- For Admission, the student must have class 10th Original admit card.

Then they should enter their basic details, upload the required documents, fill the optional details, select the subject as per their course, study center. The student will complete the NIOS admission procedure 2024 after making the payment.
In order to check the result of online NIOS admission, 2024 The student will have to visit the official website- nios.ac.in, and click on the link stating class 12th result 2024 and enter the desired credentials. After clicking the submit button the student will be able to view his/her result.
The student will have to visit the official website – sdmis.nios.ac.in in order to download the NIOS admission admit card 2024. After entering the enrollment number and selecting the hall ticket type, the student will be able to download the admit card. Separate admit cards are released for theory and practical exams.
