The National Institute of Open Schooling has introduced the On-Demand Exam for class 10th since 2003. The main aim of the On-Demand Exam is to help students to prepare for the class 10th without any pressure or stress. This exam has flexible timing and so students can give exams when they are prepared for it.

NIOS on Demand Exam is conducted at different regional centres and so students are required to take admission and pick for their preference center. Examination Fees for NIOS On Demand Exam Class 10th

  • Students are required to pay Rs. 500/- for each subject while Rs. 200/- extra if the subject has practical.
  • 180/ per subject is to be paid if applying for TOC.
  • Student can change up to 2 subjects from their parent board and it requires to pay Rs.720/-for each subject.
  • Every student has to pay Rs.50/- as online application.
  • NIOS on Demand Exam gives the option to pay the fees through debit cards, credit card and Net Banking.

Benefits of Transfer of Credit in NIOS On Demand Exam for Class 10th

NIOS on Demand Exam gives the option of credit transfer which is quite helpful or students. If any student has passed in one or two subjects from any recognized board they can go for TOC.

TOC is applicable for two subjects only and students are not required to reappear for the cleared subjects. The marks of the passed subjects are transferred from the original mark sheet to the new mark sheet by NIOS.

There are some subjects which are quite difficult to pass for students and so NIOS on Demand Exam and TOC helps to change the subject. So, previously if you failed in the subject and are not willing to prepare it for again opt for a change in subject.

  • Firstly, you need to register where validation is done through OTP on mobile and email.
