In Feb 2011, Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) was set up as an autonomous Organisation of Education Department by the Government of Bihar. It is a registered Government Society under Societies Act. It is an Open & Distance Learning Institution, set up on the lines of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

Eligibility for Class 10th BBOSE admission 2024-25
- The minimum age limit for the student should be 14 years of age.
- A student who has already passed 10th exams and wants to improve their marks, they also have a chance. Through the BBOSE board, these students are also eligible for this course.
Eligibility for Class 12th BBOSE admission 2024-25
- The minimum age limit for the student should be 16 years of age.
- The candidate must have cleared class 10th from a recognized board to apply for BBOSE class 12th.
- A student who has already passed 12th exams and wants to improve their marks, they also have a chance. Through the BBOSE board, these students are also eligible for this course.
Documents required for admission in BBOSE for class 10th
- Date of birth certificate
- Valid Proof of Identity like Aadhar Card. The student has a Requirement of Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
- 4 passport size photographs (colored). The photographs should be recent.
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Documents required for admission in BBOSE for class 12th
- Identity proof like Aadhar Card, passport or ration card.
- Birth certificate for proof of date of birth
- Address proof i.e. Aadhaar card/water bill/electricity bill/voter ID/ration card
- Recent passport size color photograph

Qualifying marks required

The students who have already registered candidates can login using their email ID and password.
